This implication of “love your neighbor as yourself” is enough to justify the “called to be” part, but I wonder how he justifies the “local church is the key to spiritual health and growth” part, Scripturally? Especially when he says “the key.” John 15:4-5 puts our growth and productivity on abiding in Christ, and He in us.
